Kirsa: A Mother’s Story

Kirsa: A Mother’s Story a documentary based on Robyn Jensen’s book of the same name.

This is the story of how one woman survived the disappearance and presumed murder of her daughter, the police investigation and media attention that followed, the stress that took a heavy toll on the Jensen family, contributing to the breakup of her marriage to Dan.  Their son Michael lost his sister and his best friend and the years of waiting and hoping……

Robyn Jensen is a remarkable woman.  The story of her courage in the face of overwhelming tragedy and grief carries with it a powerful message of hope, forgiveness and love. And out of it all, Robyn has emerged stronger than ever. In this documentary, Robyn is telling her own story and saying “in a way, Kirsa was part of my life and still is.  She’s not just a statistic and not just a missing person.”
