Charlotte’s Web

prog-charlottes-web

Television star Carlotte Dawson returned to New Zealand in 2001 to host TV One panel advice show “How’s Life”.

The decision to return home came after nearly 20 years living in Sydney and came on the tail end of a broken marriage.

Charlotte soon found a need to discover her roots back home.  Adopted at birth she had never made any attempt to contact her birth family.  In fact, she locked her files as a teenager to preven them getting in touch.

Charlotte’s Web follows Charlotte’s unique and emotional journey from the day she starts looking for her mother.  But what follows turns Charlotte’s life upside down and leaves her delving into some long forgotten memories which bring both joy and pain.

This is a rare and captivating look at Charlotte’s life behind the scenes of her public persona which tells a story many adoptees will find familiar.
