With shows like top rating Street Dance China and Red Bull’s Dance Your Style receiving global coverage, it’s time for NZ to showcase some of its own Street Dance talent with KPA Battle Squad. Our kids train, practice and perfect their moves in street dance styles – Breaking, Hip-Hop Freestyle, Popping, Locking, House and Waacking.

KPA Battle Squad is presented by Korean born Rina Chae, aka NZ’s K-Pop Queen, from Enbeat Dance Studio, one of New Zealand’s largest dance studios focusing on street dance styles. Rina’s specialist style is Waacking which origins were from the gay clubs in LA in the 1970’s.

Working with Rina are her iconic team of mentors –

Ducky Kim, aka B-Boy Ducky, former world champion B- boy, Bryin Mita, Mr Zee, Josh Rumbold and John Bernardo’s, aka JB.
