Tanja's story is the extraordinary, disturbing and inspirational true story of a women who reclaims her life after being keep as a sex slave by her father for 23 years. In this 90 minute documentary Tanka's Darke retraces her life from her childhood in Vanuatu to her adulthood in Auckland to show "the ease with which abuse can start and the difficulties in ending abuse". Tanja's made this documentary to try to give others who may be trapped in a similar situation the courage and strength to break free.
